DIY Jewelry Display Branch

Image
DIY Jewelry Display Branch 1. Start by hammering the nails into the branch - as many as you like. This is what you will hand your necklaces on. 2. Spray the branch a couple of times with the gold spray paint. 3. Wrap the gold beading wire around over and over again covering the whole branch. Reinforce the nails by twisting around each one a few times as you go along. It's easiest to do this if you actually twist the branch instead of trying to wrap it the wire around (saves you from getting tangled). 4. Tie the string to either end of the branch, measuring your hanging length before securing. 5. Hang on a hook or nail to check that it all sits the right way, then you can hang your jewelry! (I think this would look best on a dodgy nail in the wall - giving it a really rustic look. My walls are cement so I don't have the choice!) And there you go! A beautiful and easy way to display all your untangled jewelry :) Would love to know if you get around to making one xx Original artic...

DIY Instax Wallpaper

Image
DIY Instax Wallpaper I have always wanted a wall in my home that was completely filled with photos! A couple weeks ago I got it stuck in my brain that this wall in our studio was the perfect spot. There were a couple challenges, though: 1. The wall is HUGE. 2. I don't have that many instant photos or film. 3. Even if I did buy enough film to fill the whole wall it would cost thousands of dollars and probably take months (or years?) to take enough photos. So, I came up with a solution. We "wallpapered" this wall with color copies. The cons: They are not real photos, and they do repeat. The pros: It was done in a couple days, and I can now (slowly) cover the repeats with real photos over the next few years. One more pro: We're in love with it! The photo wall makes our studio room a happier place to work. Here's how we did it: How we made our instax photo wall My brother helped me design 11×17 inch images with 9 Instax wide sized photos per sheet. We then created 4 d...

DIY home Hello friends! There hasn’t been a whole lot happening in this space of late. I’ve been so busy with a mammoth influx of lovely wedding stationery orders that it hasn’t left me much room for more! I’m dying to get going with more material and DIYs. I literally have a whole bunch of supplies staring at me like ‘why did you order us, when you aren’t using us??’ …And now I also sound a little insane to boot, but I think that’s ok. I recognise a pattern emerging. January comes round and I suddenly start wanting to chuck things out and redo rooms of the house with lots of new pretties and handmade love. Hopefully I’ll have a moment to make these things happen with my Christmas pennies and in which case, I’ll show you. In the mean time here’s some inspiration with some awesome DIYs for the home. I want to try them all! You might also like makeover a room with £50 coming home Ikea Bedside Table Hack Origina...
