Hanging a single lace panel over your window is such a simple but effective way of achieving that sort-after vintage look.


Once you are feeling more confident in your creative skills, you can try something a bit trickier, such as stenciling a wall panel behind a dressing table or chest of drawers. This is a great way of creating a focal point in the bedroom and will double as a great place to hang jewellery and trinkets. You could even try making a decorative headboard out of card – so much more affordable than the real thing and just as pretty!


Don’t forget bedroom lighting – it can be a key ingredient in creating a cosy atmosphere in the bedroom and should be one of the first things you plan into your scheme.

The Coolest Built-In Bunk Beds (and DIY Brass Hardware) Christina is one of my favorite people. She is as kind, talented and gorgeous as the day is long. The last time I was in Arizona, I swung by her new house for a little tour.
