(1) Tin can flower pots:


Free of cost products are what everyone is interested in. Use the tin cans from your trash to create decorative, cute little flower pots that can be placed anywhere in your house or office. Cut the cans in a way that only the top goes away and you are left with tin cups. Fill them with soil and a little amount of water. Now add a small plant in each of these cans. You can decorate the outer side of these DIY tin can flower pots using paint or wrapping paper.

(2) Pen/Stationary holders:


Most of us are always busy in finding a pen or a pencil when we need to write something down instantly. Here is a very convenient DIY solution that allows you to recycle tin cans as well as get some pen or stationary holders. Simple cut the tin cans and take their lids off. You are left with a tin container with one opening. You can paint or tape the out walls of these holders. Now you can easily put a couple of pens, pencils and scales inside these tin can holders and placed them around your house.

(3) Ash trays:


People with smoking habits can also use tin cans to create ash trays by simple following this DIY idea. Rather than throwing away those cans, recycle them into a handy product. Cut most of the top of the tin can. You are left with the lower portion that has low walls. Cut 4-5 semi-circles on the sharp edges of the walls of the can. This creates the space where you can put your cigarettes on. There you have it, a free ash tray out of waste tin can.
