Washington DC Nursery
Description
This Washington DC nursery is a bright, clean and cheerful space for baby to grow. We set the color palette and created a back drop with Cole & Sons' modern Flamingo wallpaper and a modern white crib juxtaposed against the earth textures of the jute and crystal chandelier and soft sheepskin rug. Crystal knobs and pink edged, relaxed roman shades add a touch of femininity and bring the space together.
Design Inspiration
Mila's parents love to travel and have lived abroad in both Europe and Australia, so when it came time to decorate their first born's room, there was plenty of inspiration from destinations they hold dear. In an ode to Miami (where they have a second home) we picked this playful flamingo wallpaper and added lots of cream, white and pink for a bright and clean palette.
Decorating Style
Modern with a nod to the traditional, I like to create spaces that are clean and contemporary but inviting.
